KAYAKING Kayak with us in the lower regions of the River Minho. We begin our peaceful descent from the quiet sandy beaches of the river. On route we stop at a small uninhabited island for a break and refreshments. We continue our journey along a small tributary where it is possible to spot various birds including herons and kestrels with swallows and swifts skimming the water for insects. |

In the shallows of the river, trout and salmon bask in the warmth of the sun. Cattle and horses peacefully graze on the banks of the river islands. |
Our journey takes us up a small meandering river that flows into the Minho every turn providing us with a different view until we eventually reach our destination by an old water mill and a natural swimming area with its clean transparent water too tempting to resist. After cooling off, time to tuck into bread and cheese and relax in these beautiful surroundings. All safety equipment is included and a qualified guide will accompany you. |
